An achromatic lens or Achromat is a lens that is created for the purpose of restricting the effects of lens(chromatic and spherical) aberration. Achromatic lenses are adjusted to bring two wavelengths to concentrate in precisely the exact same plane.
What's a chromatic aberration?
Chromatic aberration, too Called chromatic distortion and spherochromatism, is a result caused from dispersion as a result of failure of a lens to focus all colours to the same convergence point.
